In addition to our menu ( see below ) we have an interesting and comprehensive "Specials board" which changes daily with seasonal game and fresh fish dishes.

All of our dishes are cooked using good, local produce which help to give it the rich flavours our customers experience. Our main dishes are as follows:
A selection of three prime cold meats, three of our own-made chutneys & three local cheeses with apple, grapes & accompanied by a freshly baked baguette
Fresh Haddock fillet freshly battered in our own Donnington ale beer batter with our hand-cut chips & peas
Gammon steak served with a free-range local egg, our own chips & peas
Pan-fried local sirloin steak served with our Café du Paris butter £22.00

Made by Charles Martell this is a light creamy white cheese, milder than Double Gloucester.
An outstanding lightly rinded soft blue veined cheese made from cows’ milk. This is a modern blue cheese developed in 1995 in the style of cheese that has been produced on the continent for many years.
Made by Charles Martell this hard cheese is made using natural rennet and full fat pasteurised cows’ milk. Coated with toasted hops produces citrusy, buttery and sharp flavours together with slight bitterness of the hops.

A Cotswold goat’s milk cheese, unpasterurised. This soft and medium-fat cheese has a mild flavour. Coated in a mixture of salt and wood ash to give a striking appearance. This cheese won Best Goat’s Cheese in the World Cheese Awards 2014-2015.
